Prayer and Fasting 10/28/20

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today will be our last official day of our season of prayer and fasting, at least for now. John Piper said, "Christian fasting, at its root, is the hunger of a homesickness for God." Are you homesick for God today? To know him intimately and so serve him more faithfully? I hope today can be a step in that right direction. Today lets pray for the following items:

1. Pray for you to be homesick for God. To desire to know him and be with him. To repent of the times you forget about Him. Let us repent and run to our Heavenly Father.

2. Pray for those in our body who have wandered away from the Lord during this time since we have been out of the school. Pray they will come back to the Lord and to the church.

3. Pray for our missionaries today that they would be encouraged and joyful and know that we love and care for them. Pray for them to be faithful in their ministries today.

4. Pray for our building plans to be approved by the city so we can move on to the next step of finding a contractor to do the construction. Pray the Lord will lead us to the right contractor who will both give us a good price and build us a quality building.

We love you, Living Grace. Thank you for praying and fasting (as you are able) today. Thank you for taking this time seriously as we must lean upon the Lord for his wisdom and guidance. We love you and hope to see you all soon.
