Prayer and Fasting 10/21/20

Dear Living Grace,

I trust you are doing well, and I wanted to encourage you as we head into our second to the last official days of prayer and fasting. First here is a quote I found encouraging: "Quit playing, start praying. Quit feasting, start fasting. Talk less with men, talk more with God. Listen less to men, listen more to the words of God." Leonard Ravenhill. May this be true of all of us!

Today, let us pray for the following items, knowing that our Father listens and wants us to come before His presence with our requests.

1) Let us pray for our own hearts to be soft to the Word of God as we ask our Helper, the Holy Spirit, to open our eyes to the truth of God's Word so that we might be more and more conformed into the image of Christ.

2) Let us pray for our country and our upcoming elections. Pray for God's will to be done and for whatever happens for unity to reign supreme.

3) Please pray for our cross-cultural workers. Pray for their protection, favor with the people they are ministering to, and a spirit of joy in their service to our King.

4) Let us pray for the building plans to get through the city and back to the architects so we can continue the process. Please pray even now for the Lord to move in people's hearts to give so that we can construct the building and use it unto the Lord.
