Building Purchase Update

Dear Living Grace Family,

Today is a significant day in the life of our church body and one in which we certainly have much to thank the Lord for. Today we officially closed escrow on our new building and Living Grace now owns the former 24-Hour fitness building at 7901 McNair Ln! This site will be the future home of everything we need for our church to operate (offices, youth space, auditorium for worship services, Sunday school classrooms, etc.). We are already well into the process of architectural design and will soon be approaching the construction phase of the project.

As we have mentioned previously, the construction work that needs to be done for this space to functionally meet our needs as a church is going to be quite expensive. The money for that portion of the project is not included in our loan so we will need to raise that money separately. Once we have the official design and construction bids available to us, we will hold an informational meeting and present the specifics of what it is going to look like and what it is going to cost.

We are thankful for God’s grace upon our church body (which we have seen in so many ways aside from the purchase of this building) and will continue to look to His gracious guidance in the days ahead. There is still much to be done and there are still many unanswered questions, but we want to be quick to praise the Lord for this gift and opportunity. May we use it well and for His glory.
