Prayer and Fasting 9/16/20

Dear Living Grace,

Here are a few things for us to be specifically praying for as we fast and pray today.

1. Pray for the Lord to expose any sin in your own life that you need to deal with. Whatever it is, take it seriously and commit to a path of having the Lord help you get victory over that sin.

2. Pray for Pat and Ky as they move into the jungle of Missouri this week for the next 18 days of "Wilderness Training". Pray that they would learn a lot about living in the jungle and that they would be kept safe (especially my grandkids). :)

3. Pray for new people to come to Living Grace and hear the gospel, trust Christ as their Savior, and grow in their faith.

4. Pray for the loan to be secured (waiting on the appraisal) and for wisdom for the architects as they are deep into the design of the building.

Please remember these words from Jesus about fasting:

“And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you." Matt. 6:16-18
