LG Summer Class - Important Update

Dear Living Grace Family,

Our next class is tomorrow night (Tuesday, June 16th) at 6:30 PM. This will be our third session of our summer class, "Building a Healthy Church." We will be discussing the books on "Missions" and "The Gospel," and we would encourage you to read them before the class tomorrow night.

We are excited to announce that the most significant change to the class structure is that we are going to be holding the class in-person rather than over a Zoom webinar from here on out (Lord willing). We have received updated guidelines from the state, and the same group limitations that have been in place for the last 3 weeks are still in place for another 3 weeks. With that being said, we do believe that we are able to meet together in-person while adhering to the proper regulations and guidelines. So here is our plan for the session tomorrow night and for future sessions as well (Please read all the details):

  • We will be meeting at the church offices (8500 Harris Rd., Ste A) at 6:30 PM on an R.S.V.P basis.
  • We can only hold about 20 people in the room while adhering to the proper CDC and CDPH (California Department of Public Health) social distancing guidelines.
  • So, the first 20 people to respond to this e-mail asking for a spot will be able to attend in-person. Those who have attended the webinar live for at least one of the last two weeks will have priority in the R.S.V.P. process.
  • In your email R.S.V.P., please indicate how many seats you are requesting.
  • We will send out an email confirmation to everyone who has a seat reserved by tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1:00 PM. If you do not receive the e-mail confirming you have a spot, please do not attend. Again, our space is very limited.
  • If more than 20 people would like to attend, we will consider finding a bigger venue to host the class next week and in the weeks ahead. Please respond to this email and let me know if you are interested in physically attending the class, even if you cannot be there tomorrow night, in order that we might know how big of a venue we need to look for.
  • We will still be recording the class and posting it to our website and mobile app, so that those who cannot be there will still be able to watch it after the fact.

We really appreciate your patience as we figure out how best to navigate the current situation. We will continue to hard at figuring out how best to get together while honoring the guidelines that have been put in place.

Thankful for you all,

Billy Freels
